Copyright Policy
How to report infringement, and how we respond to a report.
Last updated 25 October 2026
1. Our position
We respect the rights of artists, photographers, designers and brand owners, and we expect the people who use Exbrush to do the same. You may only upload images you have the right to use, and you may not use the service to copy someone else’s work or imitate their trademark. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Reporting infringement
If you believe an image uploaded to or made with Exbrush infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to support@exbrush.com that includes:
- Your name and contact details, and who you act for if not yourself.
- The work or trademark you say has been infringed, with a link or copy if you can.
- The image you are complaining about and where you found it, in enough detail for us to locate it.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for them.
- Your signature, which may be typed.
Exbrush has no public gallery and shows images only to the account that made them, so the image you report will usually be one you have seen published elsewhere. Tell us where.
3. What we do with a report
We review every complete notice. Where it is valid we remove or disable the material we host, tell the account holder, and may suspend the account. We cannot remove an image from another website; for that, contact the site it is published on.
4. If your content was removed
If you think material was removed by mistake, reply to our notice or write to support@exbrush.com explaining why you had the right to use it. If the explanation holds, we restore it unless the person who complained tells us they have started legal action.
5. Repeat infringement
We close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly. Knowingly sending a false notice or a false reply may also lead to your account being closed, and can make you liable for the harm it causes.
6. Our own material
The Exbrush name, logo, app design, and built-in styles and presets belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used as your own. Your rights in the images you make are described in the AI Content Policy.
